Charlotte Taylor Achieves Amatsu Advanced Qualification in Japanese Integrated Medicine

We’re delighted to share that Charlotte Taylor, one of our highly skilled therapists at Amatsu Clinic in Abergavenny, has achieved her qualification as a Certified Amatsu Japanese Integrated Medical Practitioner.

This advanced qualification deepens Charlotte’s expertise in Amatsu Therapy and holistic medicine, allowing her to help clients in even more personalised and effective ways.

A Journey Inspired by Healing

Charlotte’s path to becoming a therapist began in a deeply personal way.

After a car accident left her with chronic pain and bulging discs, she was faced with two difficult options — invasive surgery or long-term medication. Instead, she sought alternative therapies and discovered the remarkable benefits of holistic treatment.

During the pandemic in 2020, Charlotte began studying various healing methods, including Qi Gong, which led her to train at the International School of Amatsu Japanese Integrated Medicine. In 2021, she moved to Abergavenny and experienced firsthand how Amatsu Therapy could ease her pain and restore balance — inspiring her to train under the mentorship of Stephan Grabner, founder of Amatsu Clinic.

What the Qualification Means

The Amatsu Japanese Integrated Medicine qualification combines traditional Japanese healing techniques with modern anatomy and physiology.
It includes advanced skills such as joint and soft tissue balancing, acupressure, cranial and abdominal therapy, and energy-based techniques similar to acupuncture.

These methods are designed to support both the physical body and the internal systems — helping to relieve pain, restore movement, improve circulation, and boost natural energy.

Charlotte’s training allows her to help clients with:

  1. Back, neck, and shoulder pain
  2. Joint and muscular problems
  3. Stress, fatigue, and poor sleep
  4. Digestive and circulatory imbalance

A Holistic, Gentle Approach

Charlotte’s approach blends the precision of Japanese integrated medicine with the calm, restorative qualities of Reiki.
Every session is tailored to the individual, often incorporating sound, light, and aroma to create a deeply relaxing and effective experience.

“I’ve seen first-hand how powerful these methods can be,” says Charlotte. “It’s amazing to help people move more freely and live without pain — using gentle, natural techniques that work with the body rather than against it.”

Stephan’s Congratulations

Clinic Director Stephan Grabner (SRN) said:
