We’re pleased to share that Amatsu Clinic is now officially registered with Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW).
This marks an important milestone for the clinic and reflects the standards of care, safety, and governance we are committed to providing for every person who walks through our doors.

What This Means for Our Patients
Registration with Healthcare Inspectorate Wales confirms that Amatsu Clinic meets the requirements set out under the Care Standards Act 2000 for independent healthcare services in Wales.
In practical terms, this means our clinic has been assessed against recognised standards covering:
- Patient safety
- Clinical governance
- Quality of care
- Operational processes and environment
For our patients, it provides an additional layer of reassurance that the care you receive here is delivered within a regulated, accountable framework.
A Clinic Built Around Integrated Care
At Amatsu Clinic, we take an integrated, whole-body approach to health and recovery.
Our services include:
- Amatsu Therapy – gentle, hands-on therapy to restore balance, movement, and alignment
- Acupuncture – supporting pain relief, relaxation, and overall wellbeing
- Ozone Therapy – a range of treatments designed to support healing, circulation, and recovery
- Prolozone Therapy – a targeted approach to joint and musculoskeletal pain, encouraging natural repair and regeneration
- IHHT (Intermittent Hypoxic Hyperoxic Therapy) – supporting energy, resilience, and recovery
- Blood Testing Services – providing deeper insight into health and wellbeing
By combining these approaches, we aim to support not just symptoms, but the underlying factors affecting how you feel day to day.
A Commitment to Safe, Patient-Centred Care
From the outset, our aim has been to create a clinic environment that feels calm, professional, and genuinely focused on the individual.
HIW registration formalises that commitment.
It reflects not only the treatments we provide, but the way we provide them — with care, attention, and a responsibility to maintain high standards across every aspect of the clinic.
A Word from Stephan Grabner
Stephan Grabner, Director of Amatsu Clinic, said:
“Achieving registration with Healthcare Inspectorate Wales is an important step for us as a clinic.
We’ve always been focused on providing safe, thoughtful, and effective care, and this process ensures that everything we do meets the standards expected of a regulated healthcare provider.
It gives our patients confidence that they are in a professional, accountable environment — while still receiving the personalised, holistic approach that defines what we do here.”
Transparency and Ongoing Standards
As a registered healthcare provider, our registration details — along with any future inspection reports — will be publicly available via Healthcare Inspectorate Wales.
We welcome this transparency as part of maintaining trust with our patients and the wider community.
Our registration certificate will also be displayed within the clinic, as required.

Thank You
We’d like to thank our team for the work that has gone into achieving this milestone, and our patients for the continued trust and support they place in us.
If you have any questions about what this means, or about the services we provide, we are always happy to help.
